ATTENTION:  Vault Music Services is currently being reorganized and is partnering with a distribution and public relations company.  Hmmm, won't THAT be fun?  Please do not send CD's at this time.  However you should drop us an email so that we can let you know when we are up and running again.

VAULT MUSIC SERVICES PROVIDES YOU WITH ...

An instant creative audio-visual licensing department that hits the ground running.  We help you exploit your catalog and maximize marketing opportunities.  Outsource your licensing initiatives with confidence so that you can do what you do best ... create music.

RECORD LABELS AND PUBLISHERS:

Vault Music Services will help you take full advantage of the exciting market of Film & TV music licensing without burdening your current staff, resources, and time.  Vault will provide you with the same tools major labels have -- a department to handle incoming licensing requests, as well as networking and advertising at industry events to solicit new business.

Vault is a full service organization. We will collaborate with you on sampler design and artist issues.  We will also work closely with you on seeking marketing and promotional opportunities for your catalog and artists.  We have established relationships with many promotional outlets and remain dedicated to the licensing market.

Contact us to discuss your catalog and to receive our information package.

INDEPENDENT PERFORMERS, SONG WRITERS, AND COMPOSERS:

Don't have a label or publisher helping you place your materials for film and television?  We work with all styles - Rock, Pop, Urban, Hip Hop, Dance, Electronica, Lounge, Classical, Jazz, World, Crossover, etc...  If you would like to submit your music for consideration in our licensing service please review ALL of the information below carefully before sending any materials.

Submit material in the following manner:
- Send CD format only (no cassettes or MP3's).
- Use standard size jewel cases, no minis or paper sleeves.
- Label the CD, as well as the CD Case, with song and contact info.
- Label the spine of the CD Jewel case.

Include the following information:
- Your name, address, telephone, fax, email.
- Song titles, track lengths, lyric sheet.
- Information regarding samples.
- Publisher, record label, and/or management contacts (if any).
- Biographical information and previous working credits.

Please note some limitations:
- We are not a composer agency - we do not get our artists writing commissions.
- Songs containing rough language, or implying derogatory beliefs, can be difficult for us to place.
- Do not send songs with samples (especially uncleared samples) will cause producers to pass on your material, and give you a big headache!
- We are looking for song-based material.  Placing instrumentals can be difficult because they are in competition with the production's composer as well as various production music libraries who can offer high quality instrumentals at an absurdly low price.
- We do accept unsolicited material from unsigned artists, and although it's not required, most of the indie artists we work with have some sort of management.

Please also note the following VERY IMPORTANT comments:
- We will only contact you if we feel that we can work with your material.  Sorry if this seems harsh, but we get so much material that we are simply unable to spend the time commenting on everything we receive.
- If you have not done so already we strongly recommend that you register yourself and your songs with your local Composer's Rights Society - in the US those are ASCAP, BMI, and SESAC.  Each country has it's own society, for example in Canada contact SOCAN.
-
- We do not return any materials.  If you want your materials returned you must provide the correct amount of return postage and an appropriate mailing container.
- We are not responsible for damaged, lost, or misdirected mail.
- Only broadcast quality recordings will be considered.  Do not send rough or midi-based demos as they will not be considered.
- We retain the right to refuse to comment on any material we receive.
- We retain the right to refuse to work with any material for any reason in order to protect our company from potential liability.

Whether a song is good or bad is purely subjective.
We make no claims of having a higher authority to judge your creative output.
